Il Bagatto (The Magician) is the number one card in the Tarot. It represents the first step in the evolutionary path revealed by the Tarot. For some years now I have been working on a personal Tarot deck and this card represents for me the many techniques and creative possibilities of printmaking. My Magician is a woman in her printing studio and a tribute to all the women artists and printmakers often forgotten in the past.

Il Bagatto (Le Bateleur) est la carte numéro un des tarots. Elle représente le premier pas dans le chemin évolutif révélé par les tarots. Depuis quelques années je travaille à un jeu personnel de tarots et cette carte représente pour moi les nombreuses techniques et possibilités créatives de la gravure. Mon bateleur est une femme dans son atelier d’impression et un hommage à toutes les femmes artistes et imprimeures souvent oubliées dans le passé.
