The San Francisco Cable Cars are the funicular-powered tramway network that serves the city of San Francisco,
world’s last network of its kind. The network, considered an icon of the city, transports more than 6 million people annually, many of them are tourists. Of the 23 lines activated between 1873 and 1890, only three survive today, two connect Union Square with the Fisherman’s Wharf neighborhood as the third meander
Les téléphériques de San Francisco sont le réseau de tramway alimenté par un funiculaire qui dessert la ville de San Francisco, dernier réseau mondial de ce type. Le réseau, considéré comme une icône de la ville, transporte plus de six millions de personnes par an, dont beaucoup sont des touristes. Sur les vingt-trois lignes activées entre 1873 et 1890, seules trois survivent aujourd’hui, deux relient Union Square avec le quartier de Fisherman’s Wharf comme troisième méandre.
